silsila End-User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the "silsila" mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this EULA. If you do not agree with any part of this agreement, please refrain from using the App.

2. Description of the App

The "silsila" app serves as a one stop shop for everything muslim. It provides the following features: Prayer Times: Access precise prayer times based on your current location and the mosques around you. Receive visual and audio notifications for prayer times from the mosques you subscribe to and the call to prayer (Athan/Azan). find local mosues and muslim institutes around you and see what they announce. find local businesses and what they offer Social Media Platform: Share text and photos within the Ummah and your friends and react with islamic invocations.

3. User Obligations

• You agree not to use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

• Respect the community guidelines when using the social media features.

4. Intellectual Property

• The App and its content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

• You may not modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the App without permission.

5. Privacy and Data Collection

The App requires your location for accurate prayer times and qibla directions. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and usage.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the App at any time. Upon termination, you must uninstall the App and cease using it.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided &uot;as is," and we make no warranties regarding its accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Community Guidelines and Content Moderation

We are committed to maintaining a respectful and positive environment within the "silsila" community. As such, we have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

1- Objectionable Content: Users must not post or share content that is offensive, harmful, or violates Islamic principles. This includes but is not limited to hate speech, violence, or explicit material.

2- Respectful Interaction: Treat fellow users with kindness, empathy, and respect. Avoid personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory behavior.

3- Reporting Abusive Users: If you encounter objectionable content or abusive behavior, report it promptly using the in-app reporting feature. We will take appropriate action to maintain a safe and welcoming community.

4- Moderation: Our team actively monitors content. We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any user violating these guidelines.
